Hart & Main is a one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue opening in Spring of 2022 with indoor and outdoor options to fit any occasion. This space is well equipped with a full commercial kitchen and bar, a beautiful rooftop deck, bridal and groom suites and will feature a Mid-century vibe.  

​The owners, Rob and Lisa Younkin, purchased an old, family-owned auto repair shop in March of 2018, intending to build a small apartment complex, only to find out that idea did not work well with the lot size. So they decided to put their heads together, and the idea of a wedding and event venue took off. From there comes Hart & Main. The vision for Hart & Main is to create a purpose-built, versatile and differentiated event space for people to enjoy.

Rob and Lisa enlisted the help of a highly qualified and experienced team who excel in design, wedding planning, and a distinguished restaurateur to meet the needs of all clientele. In addition, curating such a team has created a beautiful space while also hosting many differing events. 

The flexibility and versatility of the space are already attracting interest and demand for a variety of events. As a result, we are now booking for Spring of 2022.

A flexible and versatile space

Rob and Lisa Younkin have been actively investing in real estate since 2012, when they purchased a single-family rental in Palmdale, CA. Since that time, they have gone on to acquire ownership interests in over 20 properties. Rob and Lisa have invested in a diverse set of properties, ranging from passive investments with Rob’s corporate finance clients on multifamily assets to active investments in residential/multifamily, self-storage and retail. Given Rob’s upbringing as the son of a contractor and his prior ownership of a construction company, Rob and Lisa prefer investments that require significant upgrades/improvements as well as new development.

As residents of Santa Clarita since 2005, they have the advantageous perspective as the “target customer", which provides an enhanced lens into what the community needs and wants. As a result, the couple has gone on to acquire another property on Main Street and is currently under contract to purchase a 3rd property. The investment thesis is that a clustered investment approach will benefit all the assets concurrently as well as individually as we advance the City of Santa Clarita’s vision to turn Main Street in to an Arts and Entertainment destination. Beyond real estate, Rob and Lisa are focused on raising their three children to be good-hearted human beings. They have 2 dogs and are extremely fortunate to have both sets of parents alive, healthy, and living with 10 minutes of them. They work hard for the present and future benefit of their family, just like their parents and grandparents have done for them.

Tricia Maldonado

Tricia Maldonado has been in the wedding and event industry since 2003. She began her journey working alongside an event planner for over 5 years and realized that it was time to start her own company. Tricia is now the owner and lead event manager of Tricia Dahlgren Events which was established in 2009. Although based in the Santa Clarita Valley, Tricia Dahlgren Events offers a wide range of event services from day of consulting to full coordination throughout Southern California. Tricia Dahlgren Events also offers in-house services within several venues and operates with a team of 7 event managers and 15 assistants.

Tricia’s passion has grown her company into what it is today! Alongside growing her company, Tricia is also the founder and president of the Wedding and Event Society. This event group is focused on networking and is made up of a multitude of vendors who are focused on growing each other's businesses. Hart and Main is now one of the many vendor partners in the Wedding and Event Society. Tricia is so excited to not only have the opportunity to offer in house coordination at Hart and Main, but to also consult for the build out of the new venue. Tricia Dahlgren Events believes that clients are the top priority and as in house coordinator of Hart and Main, TD Events will always strive to exceed all clients needs! Beyond event coordinating, Tricia currently resides in Santa Clarita with her husband and 2 children. You will often find Tricia and her family at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland, or enjoying weekend sports with her children!

Mike Miller understands hospitality and what it means to make each client and their guests feel well cared for, due to his twenty years in the restaurant industry. Mike will manage the bar and kitchen programs at Hart & Main. Using his wide breadth of knowledge, Mike will work to design and execute food and drink packages personal to the clients’ tastes and wishes, to ensure a memorable event.

Kim Williams

Kim Williams has over 20 years of experience as a landscape designer and contractor in the Santa Clarita Valley and Los Angeles areas. She has dedicated her career to building beautiful, creative, and functional indoor-outdoor spaces. The garden elements are key to the unique indoor-outdoor atmosphere of Hart & Main, making it a perfect project for Kim!

Brian McBride

Brian McBride is a seasoned and accomplished project manager with more than 20 years of experience in construction design and build. In addition to ensuring that the construction of Hart & Main goes smoothly, he will also oversee the daily operations that make up the entire team’s hard work. Brian’s attention to detail and ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships will be key to the success of Hart & Main’s construction and beyond.

Jordan Pereyra 

Jordan Pereyra has over twelve years of experience in the banking and hospitality industry. Her expertise in interpersonal communication and management will be valuable as she handles all the administrative work, contracts, and sales at Hart & Main. Jordan is excited for this opportunity to work with such an amazing group!
