Tips for the Old Town Newhall Farmers Market

Shopping at the Old Town Newhall Farmers Market is totally different from shopping at a chain
grocery store – and in a lot of good ways!

Remember that the produce and food will be imperfect. Ears of corn might have a soft end or a
head of broccoli might have an insect. It’s all proof that the food is fresh and no pesticides are
used.

Have a few recipes in mind or bring a grocery list of your favorite foods for flawless meal
planning. Bring reusable grocery bags to keep your trip sustainable and have some your own
to-go dishes with you so you can take home any leftovers from your Old Town Newhall Farmers
Market lunch.

The farmers market is rain or shine, but pets are not allowed due to California state law.
